How to use the Interlinking Feature?

Scalenut’s Internal Linking tool automates this process, identifying contextual opportunities to keep readers—and AI engines—engaged with your domain.

Setup & Connection
- Access: Open any report in the Article Writer or Content Optimizer editor.
- Connect: Click the Interlinking icon. Select ‘Add Domain’ and link your Google Search Console via Gmail.
- Start: Select your verified domain and hit ‘Start’ to generate suggestions.
Managing Suggestions
- Review: Suggestions appear in the right-hand panel with recommended anchor text and URLs.
- Refine: If a keyword appears multiple times, use the arrow icon to pick the best spot for the link.
- Apply: Click to insert the link or dismiss it. Completed links will be marked as ‘Fixed’.
Finalizing Once done, click ‘Exit Interlinking Mode’.
Note: Domain connections are locked per report. To use a different domain, start a new report.
Managing Domains To remove a domain, go to My Account > Domains, hover over the site, click the bin icon, and type ‘DELETE’ to confirm.
