1. Accessing the Toolbars Once inside an article in the Article Writer, you will encounter two primary tools:
- AI Toolbar: Always visible at the top of your editor.
- Inline AI Toolbar: This appears automatically whenever you highlight a sentence or paragraph.
2. Inline Formatting & Styling When you select text, the Inline Toolbar provides immediate options. Click Format to access standard styling like Bold or Italic, but also GEO-critical features like converting text to H2/H3 headings for better structure. You can also generate AI Images from your selected text or add Comments for team collaboration.
3. Enhancing Content with Cruise AI Click the Cruise AI button on the toolbar to access predefined optimization tools:
- Quick Fixes: Instantly Expand, Shorten, Rephrase, or Simplify your prose.
- Localization: Convert text between US and UK English to match your target region's needs.
- Reviewing Outputs: Cruise AI shows a side-by-side view of your Original Text and the AI-Generated Text. You can choose to Accept, Discard, or Regenerate the result.
4. Advanced Custom Instructions For more specific GEO needs, use the Enter Instruction field. This allows you to provide custom prompts such as:
- "Add a local statistic for the Indian market."
- "Limit this summary to 140 characters."
- "Simplify this for non-native speakers."
If the output isn’t perfect, click Edit Instruction to tweak your prompt and try again.
