1. Connecting the Integration To get started, go to your Dashboard, click on Apps, and select App Integrations. Choose Plagiarism Checker and click Connect. You will be prompted to enter your Copyscape username and API key.
Note: You can find your API key on the "Premium API" page of your Copyscape account. Ensure you are on a Copyscape Premium plan for this to work.
2. Running a Scan Once installed, open any document in the editor and navigate to the Apps tab. Select Plagiarism Checker. Here, you can see your current Copyscape balance and the approximate cost to check your current word count. Click Scan Full Document to begin.
3. Reviewing Results The tool will display any matches found across the web. You can:
- View Snippets: See the specific text that matches the source.
- Visit Sources: Click the link to visit the original website.
- Identify Matches: The checker highlights the plagiarized text on the source site so you can easily compare and rewrite.
